Aggressive Dog Behavior (Episode 1)
www.sitmeanssit.com Training young Doberman Pinscher dogs can be difficult at times, but they are a great breed and very strong. Getting this dog under control will make life a lot easier for this family. This young Doberman Pinscher has some problems with barking and aggression towards other dogs as you can see in the introduction video here. The dog is seen here before any of our training has taken place, and what he is like normally if he sees another dog. The dog across the room is just a 5 month old puppy that our Sit Means Sit dog training location in Las Vegas, Nevada is training, and is also doing quite well already.

Yes I get that. But the video was edited, and the dog went from reactive to highly reactive and stayed at a kind of panic-verrrry reactive state for a very long time, especially taking into consideration that the video had been edited.
I’m sure their trained eye would not have taken this long to evaluate the behaviour, and I’m sure us viewers got the picture quite fast too.
I think the dobermann suffered too long there.

I’m not by definition anti-shock collar. I just don’t think it’s a ‘use on all dogs in any situation’ kind of tool. I’ve watched many of the ‘Sit means sit’ videos and I think I’ve only seen a handful of videos where I actually thought the collar was called for.
With so many owners abusing the shock collar (not saying SMS is doing that!), I think you should be very careful in suggesting it’s the right tool for any problem your dog might have, or even for basic training.
Dogs are driven, not by being human, but by being THE best at what they have been doing before we got to them
… you all need to remember that…
We may all try to be anthropomorphic to a fault…
Just try to remember how the “pretty little doggies” got to be that way; i promise that it wasn’t by being obedient to anything except their own advancement.
@EvelineUK i know this training place and i can tell you from experience that most of there dogs still go home aggressive and i no for a fact that my people have had to take these dogs to fix there problems, these people just dont fully understand or even try to understand whats really going on.
that dobermann is absolutely beautiful
Is this a william koler based traing center
dog might not be dangerous u should test him relase him with a muzzle and see what he dose
You can’t tell if that dog is aggressive or not from this footage or the way it acted, it could have easily been dying to meet the other dog and that’s why it made those sounds. Dog needs to be evaluated better.
i like dobermans =]
dobermans suck ass rotts are way better
@TheMainkidd you suck ass, and everyone is way better, than you.
@japimportssuck hahaha deffend yourself dobermans are skinny as fuck and there not that scary looking rotts have meat and are great listeners and that dog sounds like its getting fucked in the ass when it barks haha
@TheMainkidd your mom sucks my ass.
@TheMainkidd Rottweilers are bitch dogs
@prourke513 your mommas a bitch dog hahaha jk but naw rotts will tear dobermans asses up hahaha
@dubcitybigballers hahaha thats crazy ive never seen her kiss a donkey but its cool cuz your mom sucks my left nut hahaha gently:)
I want to make my dog aggressive..
How did that dog get to that state in the first place? I never understood what actually causes a dog to be aggressive other than fear.
@Jorgehonnor It’s people like you that give beautiful dogs like these a bad rep.
@TheMainkidd dude stop talking shit. My gsd is 113lbs and 29.5 inches to the shoulder. How big is the average rot???? Yeah they have meat on them but the way they listen depends on how their trained. So dont start saying that.
@Jorgehonnor i want you not to have a dog!!!
it’s one thing to teach him to bark on command, cause dobies looks are vicious enough so the barking should scare away everyone thats not supposed to be there, but a**holes (i’m sorry, i don’t know you, but thats what people like you are to me) like you should never and i mean NEVER own a dog if the poor animal is there just so it can make you feel more like a man.. grow some balls, and then even a poodle or a pug could feed your ego!
@TheMainkidd just to let you know that while i was walking my 2.5 year old dobie, a 4 year old rott attacked him, and my dobie knocked him senceless to the ground, and kept his mouth above his throat waiting for my signal to either let him go or bite.. and he was NEVER trained to be agressive, but he was affraid that rott might come after me, and his instinct told him to protect us both..
rott was crying like a little bi*ch, so stop talking sh*t, cause its not the breed, its the specific dog!
@pakicA bullshit i gotta see it to believe it cuz anybody can say shit on anything no rott crys like a bitch unless they getting beat so wtf u got to proove wut ur saying
@TheMainkidd you can’t talk in general, cause every rott might be stronger then every doberman, but mine took that one to the ground in a split second.. so there are always exception to the rule, cause my dobie is veeeeeeeery vicious when it comes to protecting me, even tho he was never trained to be.. and the last thing on my mind was to take my camera and film that, cause all i wanted was to get my dog away.. if they meet again, i’ll record it just for you -.-”
