At the moment i put a puppy pen around the crate, leave the door open and allow the puppy to come out at night and go pee. I am not taking her outside to pee during the day yet she is doing it in house on a potty pad, please help me xxx Should i shut the door during the night? Can she hold it????
i just got a 9-10 week old puppy and i’m just wondering if i should crate train him and what the benefits are? as of right now he doesn’t like his crate and cries as soon as the door shuts. i’ve put his food and treats in there along with his bed to help him get used to it, but it doesn’t seem to be helping.
he’s a boxer/lab mix if that makes a difference.
I have one handy and want to start crate training puppy. Will it be a good substitute?
I crate trained my shih tzu. It was horrible, he wined so much. But, he got over it. Now, he’s a year and a half and he sleeps on my bed and roams around the house free. It seems like it was just a pointless stressful event. I would understand if you put your dog in a crate a lot. But, mine is never in a crate anymore. So what’s your opinion of crate training?
