when i yelped my puppy just bit my neck and i punished him in his cage that seemed to work better because hes a husky/germShepard i dont think he cares if i yelp at all it just shows him im weak and that he can just keep biting me

i saw a way to stop this while i was watching the dog whisperer when the dog bites hold hes nick firmly and squeeze with little force and say with calm voice stop , it sounds harsh but it worked for me

No, makamalu is saying that this video is not helpful at all if you have a dog that hasn’t already been trained not to bite. It’s titled “HOW TO TRAIN DOG NOT TO BITE” which is a lie.

Thanks for your comments. Lady, the dog in this video, was surrendered to me when she was 4 years old. She went through a door after a human being and was facing euthanasia. She accepted positive reinforcement training, along with boundaries, and became the best working dog I’ve ever had. No force is necessary, as used by Cesar Milan. It does take time, patience, fairness, and commitment. This video was intended to be short and an encouragement to seek professional help from a trainer.
