Guys my labrador is 1 and a month old now and I dunno y but when he was small when I said “sit” he will sit within a second, now when I tell him to “sit” his apparently too excited and disobey my orders by jumping and running around, anyone know how do I calm him down?
i have a lab, 3 months old. he doesnt like going out, we have to literally pull him to the end of the street but once we get there he’s all happy but during the walk he stops for like 2 minutes, looks at us and then keeps on going, whats going on?
filigold, puppies are just weird like that. my dog used to lay in the sun and just sit there, refusing to come back. he will grow out of it eventually.
i’v heard that dogs can’t adjust to a apartment…we want to have a labrador but we can’t decide if we can get him or not after knowing this….
Any dog can adjust to an apartment. Apartment dogs has a richer life because you have to walk them in stead of giving them a couple of minutes in the back yard.
The good part of getting a labrador is that it is easy to make it accept your leadership.
The bad part is that a labrador should have at least 8 km of walk each day - and dont think throwing a ball or a stick is exersice - it is just making the dog stressed.
The key is quality time with YOU.
Then you really get something special
i need to work with my lab, when ever i am talking to people he barks and whines. and then when im about to go for a walk. he pulls me like he is in a rush to go to the park.
Labs are the greatest. They stay puppies for quite some time, however they are easy to train and they are very loving. You can not go wrong with a lab for a child or yourself, if you need a pet.

Hi, your vids are great… lookin forward to getting your book. My LAB is 9 month… still mouthing quite often, any advice… scared it may put to much pressure one time and hurt someone (family covered in bruises lol)???
my lab is 4 month old he still poops and pees at home and know no tricks but sit
@iamprincebones Mine does that too! He like tramples and runs like crazy when hes around other dogs.
Mine LOVES cars, and even got run over gently..which helped me realize how much i care about her because i cried and cried. Walking does help them, i try several hours a day. They are just very hyper when young, I get some injury every week, but they are loyal pets. Mine has even helped me stand up before by going under me and pushing up!
